Co-directors Johnny Brophy and Simon Browning formed JOHNNY BUTTONS in 2009, and it’s our work with an elite, satellite network of contributing Creatives that makes us such an unusual, invaluable resource for any brand or agency with a visual or creative dimension.

Johnny has 10 years’ experience in Visual Merchandising starting his career with Diesel in the UK before relocating to Italy to take on the role of Creative Visual Consultant across the Diesel group worldwide.
Following that Johnny diversified into the Luxury arena by becoming the Visual Merchandising Manager for a leading distribution agent in India overseeing a rich portfolio of top-level luxury brands including Gucci, Jimmy Choo, Bottega Veneta, La Perla and Calvin Klein.

Simon has 10 years’ experience in Brand Development and Experiential Events for a host of highly influential music and lifestyle brands including Ministry of Sound and PlayStation.
His work with the latter included bringing together cutting-edge design and contemporary entertainment to create a unique brand space in East London for PlayStation Europe. Developed for the launch of PlayStation3, the space in Brick Lane became a hub of creativity, forging unique partnerships with key figures in London’s music, theatre, fashion and media industries.

Our combined experience, which consistently takes us to all corners of contemporary culture, provides us with the extensive platform of contacts, knowledge and practical experience, which is essential to truly bring the essence of any brand to life - enhancing value - in an original and engaging way.
In order to maintain the vitality and relevance of our clients we draw inspiration from every part of the creative sphere, whether it’s a work of art, a nuance of design, a piece of music or an observation from the natural world.
